I come out, measure the space, assess the subfloor condition, and talk through your material options. You get a clear, itemized estimate — no vague ranges, no hidden add-ons. Most estimates are scheduled within a few days of your call.

Material Selection

I help you pick the right flooring for your space, traffic level, and budget. I also install customer provided materials.

Subfloor Prep

Good flooring starts with a solid, level base. I address squeaks, soft spots, and uneven areas before any material goes down. Skipping this step is the most common reason flooring fails early — we don't skip it.

Installation

I do the install personally — accurate cuts, tight seams, proper expansion gaps, and clean transitions between rooms. Your home is treated with respect throughout: furniture moved carefully, work areas kept clean, and no damage to walls or trim.

Final Walkthrough & Cleanup

When the work is done, we walk through it together. I want you to see every transition, every edge, and every seam before I consider the job complete. Full cleanup is included.

Often yes — especially for flooring. If you've already purchased material or found something you love, I'll review it for compatibility with your subfloor and confirm the right installation method before we start. Just make sure to have 10% overage ordered for cuts and waste.

Do I need to move furniture before installation? +

Lighter furniture can typically be moved by the homeowner beforehand. I can assist with heavier pieces as needed — just let me know what you're working with when we schedule. The space needs to be clear before install begins so we can work efficiently.

Do you remove and haul away old flooring? +

Yes — demo and disposal of existing flooring is included in most projects. This is discussed during the estimate walkthrough so it's priced into your quote upfront, not added as a surprise at the end.

LVP or hardwood — which should I choose? +

It depends on the room and your lifestyle. LVP is waterproof, lower cost, and easier to maintain — a great fit for kitchens, bathrooms, and homes with kids or pets. Hardwood adds real value, looks premium, and can be refinished over time — best in living rooms and bedrooms where moisture isn't a concern. I'll walk you through both options during your estimate.
