Owner & Operator · Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Meet Matt, your Cedar Rapids remodeling contractor.

I started Urban Edge Construction & Remodeling because Cedar Rapids homeowners deserve a contractor they can actually trust: someone who shows up when he says he will, tells you the truth about your project, and takes pride in the work from the first board to the final walkthrough.

I'm a lifelong Iowan with more than 15 years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and construction. I've done everything from flooring, kitchens, and bathrooms to decks, roofing, siding, and home additions. Whatever the size of the job, the goal is the same: work I'd be proud to have in my own home.

When you hire Urban Edge, you work directly with the owner. There's no salesperson and no handoff to a crew you've never met. I'm on every job myself, and when you call or text, you reach me.

I'm registered with the State of Iowa and accredited with the BBB, because doing things by the book matters. No project is perfect, but if something comes up, I stand behind my work and make it right.

Off the job, I'm spending time with family or working on projects of my own. Fair warning: I'll probably make friends with your dog before I pick up a tool.
